Your Wedding, Their Words

We interview your wedding guests and film what they have to say about you, the day and the two of you together. One film with everyone who came to celebrate.

Everyone you love, in one place, with plenty to say.

A wedding brings together every person who matters to you. Between the hugs, the toasts and the dancing, they're swapping stories, laughing about old times and wishing you well. Your day goes by in a blur, so we sit down with your guests and capture it all, and you get to hear every word.

Is this the same as wedding videography?

Not quite, and that's what makes it special. Your videographer captures your ceremony and your day. We capture your guests, and what they have to say about you. The two sit side by side beautifully, and we'll work around your other suppliers on the day.

Can we choose our presenter?

Yes. Pick Craig or Aimee when you enquire and we'll confirm your choice, subject to availability on your date. Not sure? Choose "no preference" and we'll match you.

How do guests get involved?

Your presenter invites guests to the camera throughout, and each interview takes just a few minutes. There's nothing to prepare and no script to learn.

Is there anything we can do beforehand?

Yes, and it makes a big difference. Give a handful of your chattiest guests a heads up that we'll be there, and ask your bridal party to pop by early if they can. Once the first few go, everyone follows.

What if some of our guests are shy?

Completely normal, and exactly what our presenters are brilliant at. They put people at ease within seconds, and the shy ones often give the best answers.

How long is the film?

Each film runs to approx 60 minutes, edited from your guest interviews.

What's the difference between The Day and The Afters?

The Day is filmed during your drinks reception, when guests are fresh and the light is at its best. The Afters is filmed in the evening, once dinner is done and the party is underway. They feel completely different, and many couples love having both.

Can we add social clips?

Yes. Add 5 or 10 Cutdowns to either film. They're 30 second vertical clips, ready for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.

Where do you film?

Across Ireland and beyond. Based in Dublin, travelling wherever your wedding takes you.

How do we secure our date?

A 40% booking deposit secures your date once we've confirmed availability. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.

About Us

Your Wedding Lore was built by Stuart Burke, someone who has spent his career either on stage at weddings or behind a camera making things look and feel right.

For years, Stuart played drums in a wedding band, performing at thousands of weddings across Ireland. From the back of the room, he learned the rhythm of a wedding day better than most: when guests are at their best, what makes a room come alive, how much the day means to a bride and groom, and how much happens around a couple that they never get to see for themselves.

Stuart now runs The Lemonade Stand, a Dublin marketing agency built around content creation, video production and video editing. That's the other half of what makes Your Wedding Lore work. We don't just understand weddings, we know how to shoot them, cut them and turn raw footage into something that feels exactly like the room did on the night.

Your Wedding Lore sits where those two worlds meet: the instinct for what a wedding needs and the craft to capture it properly. Based in Dublin, filming weddings across Ireland and beyond.

“Thousands of weddings later, I still think there's nothing like the atmosphere of a room full of people who've come to celebrate two people they love.”Stuart Burke, Founder

Terms & Conditions

These terms form your Service Agreement with Your Wedding Lore, operated by legal entity SPB Media Ltd. By paying your booking deposit, you confirm you've read, understood and agreed to them. Any change to these terms must be agreed in writing.

1. Booking and deposit

A 40% booking deposit secures your date. Your date isn't held until we've confirmed availability and received the deposit. The deposit is non-refundable, because once your date is held we turn away other bookings for it.

2. Balance

The remaining balance is due 14 days before your wedding. If it isn't paid by then, we may cancel coverage and keep the deposit. We deliver your finished film once your balance and any agreed extras have been paid in full.

3. Cancellation

Please cancel in writing. If you cancel:

  • more than [90] days before your wedding, we keep the deposit
  • between [30 and 90] days before, [50%] of the total package price is due
  • less than [30] days before, [100%] of the total package price is due

4. Changing your date

If your date changes, we'll do our best to move your booking, subject to availability. If we're free on your new date, your booking transfers. If we're not, it's treated as a cancellation under clause 3. Any change in price, travel or package caused by the new date will be quoted separately.

5. What's included

Your package is as described on our website and confirmed in your booking.

  • The Wedding Day: two hours of guest interviews during your drinks reception. Your two hours run from the agreed start time, and we arrive beforehand to set up.
  • The Afters: evening guest interviews, filmed away from the dancefloor. We agree the timing with you before the wedding.
  • Social Cutdowns: 5 or 10 edited vertical clips of up to 60 seconds each, cut from your interviews.

Either film can be booked on its own or together.

6. Your running order

We plan around the running order you give us. Please send it as early as you can and tell us about any changes. Weddings are live events, so if timings slip or the schedule changes, we'll adapt where we can. We can't guarantee we'll capture specific guests or moments if delays, weather or venue restrictions get in the way. Extra time can be added if we're available, at [€X] per hour.

7. Your presenter

You choose Craig or Aimee when you book, and we'll confirm your choice subject to availability on your date. If your presenter can't make it for a reason outside our control, we'll offer a suitable replacement.

8. Guest participation

Your film depends on your guests being willing to take part. We'll work hard to talk to as wide a range of people as we can, but we can't guarantee that every guest will be interviewed or appear in your film. Any guest can say no, and we'll always respect that. Interviews are unscripted. We guide the conversation with questions, but we can't control what guests say.

9. Editing and creative control

Your film is edited in our own style: selected interview moments, laughter, stories, music, titles, sound and colour. We choose which moments go in, and not every interview will make the final cut. We won't include anything we think is cruel, humiliating or damaging.

10. Film length

Your film is usually around 60 minutes. Length depends on how many guests take part and the quality of their answers, so it's an estimate rather than a guarantee.

11. Revisions

One round of reasonable changes is included, such as removing a clip, adjusting music levels, correcting names or titles, small changes to the order, or removing something sensitive. Major re-editing, repeat rounds or changes outside the original brief are charged at [€X] per hour. Please send revision requests within 14 days of receiving your film. After that, the film is considered approved.

12. Delivery

We give you an estimated delivery date when you book. It's an estimate, and busy periods, illness, technical issues or delays on your side can affect it. We'll keep you updated.

13. Sound and filming conditions

We use professional camera and audio equipment, but weddings are live environments. Loud music, wind, crowds, venue acoustics and movement can all affect quality. We'll always work for clean, clear interviews, but we can't promise studio-quality sound.

14. Venue and other suppliers

Please make sure your venue allows us to film and let your other suppliers (photographer, videographer, planner, band, DJ) know we'll be there. We'll work around them respectfully and discreetly. We're not responsible for footage missed because of venue rules, access issues or restrictions set by other suppliers.

15. Travel and accommodation

Weddings within [50 km] of Dublin have no travel charge. Beyond that, travel is charged at [€X] per additional km, and tolls and parking may be added. Where the journey, the finish time or an early start makes same-day travel unreasonable, we'll quote accommodation separately and agree it with you before booking.

16. Destination weddings

Weddings abroad, multi-day weddings and bespoke events are quoted individually, based on travel, accommodation, crew and logistics. We agree the quote in writing before any booking is confirmed.

17. Raw footage

Raw footage isn't included. We deliver your edited film and any Cutdowns you've booked.

18. Music

We use licensed or copyright-safe music chosen to suit the film. Specific song requests aren't always possible because of licensing and platform rules.

19. Social Cutdowns

Cutdowns are cut from the strongest interview moments, and we can't guarantee that specific guests or jokes will appear in them. Social platforms may compress, crop or restrict uploaded content, which is outside our control.

20. Storage and backup

We back up your footage carefully while we edit. Once your film is delivered, you're responsible for downloading and storing it safely, ideally in more than one place. We may delete project files and footage [90] days after delivery.

21. Our use of your footage

Your price includes permission for us to use selected clips, stills and audio from your wedding on our website, social media, advertising and in sales conversations. We'll always share footage tastefully, and we won't post anything we think would embarrass you or your guests. If you'd like your wedding kept private, choose our Private Use Only option, charged at [30%] of your package price and agreed in writing before booking. We'll still store, edit and back up your footage as needed to deliver your film.

22. Guests, children and sensitive content

Guests are told they're being filmed, and may decline. Please tell us in writing before the wedding about anyone who must not be filmed or shared publicly, including children or vulnerable guests. We'll take extra care with children, and we won't publish sensitive footage where we've been told not to. We may leave out or remove content we believe is offensive, defamatory, humiliating, unsafe or likely to cause distress.

23. Your data

We collect and store your details, and film and record your guests, in line with Irish data protection law and the GDPR. We use that information only to deliver your film and to run our business, and we keep it only as long as we need it. Our Privacy Policy explains how, and how you can contact us about your data.

24. Illness, emergencies and equipment

If a team member can't attend because of illness, an emergency or other circumstances beyond our control, we'll do our best to provide a suitable replacement or adjust coverage. If we can't provide the service at all, we'll refund what you've paid for the affected service. We use professional equipment and take sensible precautions, but cameras, cards and drives can occasionally fail. If that happens, we'll do everything we can to keep filming and recover footage.

25. Events outside our control

Neither side is responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as severe weather, travel disruption, venue closure, fire, flood, illness, power failure, public emergencies or government restrictions. Where we can, we'll work with you to find a fair and practical solution.

26. Limits on our liability

Our total liability for any claim relating to your booking is limited to the amount you've paid for the affected service. We're not liable for indirect loss, loss of opportunity, or the performance of anything shared on social media. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Irish consumer law that cannot be excluded.

27. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

  • give us accurate wedding details and timings
  • tell us about changes to your schedule or venue restrictions
  • make sure the venue allows filming
  • let us know about anyone who must not be filmed or shared
  • pay your deposit, balance and any extras on time
  • download and safely store your finished film

28. Complaints

If something isn't right, tell us in writing within 14 days of delivery. We'll respond promptly and do our best to put it right.

29. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Your guests have so much to say. Let's hear it.
